Welcome to Stocksquest! Today you will begin to evaluate and purchase stocks for your online stock portfolio.
You will begin the game with a cash portfolio of $100,000 USD with the goal of becoming a millionaire!
Here are a few ground rules before we get started:
- You may buy stocks listed on US stock exchanges only.
- You may buy stocks with a share price of $5 or more only.
- Each transaction (buying or selling) will cost you $15.
- You may not short sell.
- You may not buy on margin.
- Any uninvested cash will earn 2% interest.
- The game will run until May 15, 2007.
Now please open two doucments: Using a Stock Screener and Signing Up for StocksQuest. Open a new browser window and go to Yahoo! Finance and wait for the rest of the class.
