Comment – Take some time to review your classmates writings and leave a comment. Remember a comment usually does one of these things:

A) Agrees and adds supporting information
B) Moves the topic in a new direction with new evidence or a new interpretation of evidence
C) Disagrees respectfully by adding contradictory evidence

Remember BLOG completion is worth a test grade in the writing portion of your 1st Quarter Humanities Grade. Make sure to check out the Q1 Blog Rubric

Tired of the same old boring look to your blog?

Well then step right up and get a new template. Pyzam offers literally a thousand different options.

Attention teacher warnings ahead! Please keep in mind several things when choosing a template. First, this is your blog so it should reflect your personality. However since the content is academic in tone, the template you select needs to be appropriate for a school setting. Second, since your blog is a public document, what you choose for a template will be viewed by others and they will use it to begin to form an opinion of you (What kind of an online persona do you want to convey?). Another thing to keep in mind is while tricking out your blog can be fun there is such thing as too much. You want your layout and widgets to enhance your ideas not distract people from them. Finally, make sure that the layout you choose makes the text easy to read. Some monochromatic layouts, like this one, make it actually more difficult to read your posts. Click here for an example of a template that works well. Whew…ready to get started?

The process of changing the template is actually quite simple. Visit Pyzam and pick a template that suits your purpose. Click on the template and then follow these steps:

· Select all the code in the box and copy it. (right-click and select copy)

· Login to your Blogger account and go to Manage “Layout” from the Blogger Dashboard

· Click on the “Edit HTML” tab.

· Delete the code already in the “Edit Template” box and paste the new code in. (right-click, paste)

· Click “Save Template” and you’re DONE!

Cool! Now go admire your blog’s new look!
